LUCID GLASS CITY places 3D billowing clouds and radiating sun rays inside a monumental glass mirror. Viewers can ‘touch’ the illusionary clouds with their reflected image. The unique cloudscape billows in three dimensions as viewers walk down the Monroe Street Concourse at Toledo's Glass City Convention Center. This installation is the largest, seamless LUCID mirror in the world.
LUCID is a new technique invented by Adam Frank. It places a luminous 3D image inside the perceived space of a mirror. LUCID functions as an ambient light source, mirror and innovative art installation simultaneously.
This work features the use of a unique type of glass coating. The durable surface allows the transmission of light from the 3D image while providing a perfect reflection.
LUCID can replace standard mirror in almost any architectural situation and at any scale to create truly unique reflective displays. For more information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
